TROIE is the physician assistant association for doctors of International Health and Tropical Medicine (AIG) in training.

This Global Child Health Expert Working Group is part of the Dutch Association for Paediatrics (NVK), and consists of paediatricians and paediatricians in training.

The Netherlands Society for International Ophthalmology Working Group aims to promote ophthalmic care in low-wage countries

The working group monitors the quality of the surgical part of AIG training by writing the curriculum and taking care of the visitations. We organise courses such as the colon suture course, tendon sutures and skin plastics, traumatology and fixator externa course and the inguinal hernia evening.

Within the Dutch Society of ENT (NVKNO), several colleagues are involved in projects aimed at promoting and continuing ENT care in low and middle income countries (LMIC).
