The Otto Kranendonk Fund (OKF) supports scientific research in the field of global health. The fund encourages innovative projects that contribute to improving healthcare in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Discover which initiatives and research projects are being realised thanks to the OKF – from clinical research and capacity building to innovative collaborations that have a lasting impact on global health.

The fund was established in 1994 as the Tropical Medicine Honour Fund Foundation and since 2011 has borne the name of Prof. Otto Kranendonk, former professor of Tropical Health Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and director of the Department of Tropical Hygiene at the Royal Tropical Institute.

The Otto Kranendonk Fund provides financial support for scientific research in the field of Tropical Medicine and Global Health.
