Journal of Medicine for the Netherlands East Indies
The GNTI was published by the Vereeniging ter bevordering van geneeskundige wetenschappen in Nederlandsch-Indië from 1852 to 1942. On 24 February 1942, the 82nd volume was abruptly aborted at the 8th issue due to the Japanese invasion of the Dutch East Indies.

Journal of Tropical and Geographical Medicine
TGM is the post-colonial successor to the Geneeskundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch-Indië; from 1992, the Acta Leidensia were incorporated into TGM; in 1993, TGM merged with four other European journals to form Tropical Medicine & International Health (TMIH), official scientific journal of ECTMIH, hosted in its entirety on the internet by the publisher (Wiley-Blackwell).
