The academic council and the science committee of the NSGH were merged in 2025 to form the Science Council. The purpose of this council is to provide scientific support and advice to the NSGH, OIGT and KCGH.
The NSGH & science
As a scientific professional association for global health professionals, the NSGH is active in a wide range of research and knowledge areas. Our members conduct research within the broad domain of global health, participate in national and international conferences, give presentations, and publish in scientific journals.
The members of the Scientific Council together form a bridge between science, policy and practice, and contribute to the further development of the field in the Netherlands and beyond.
