International Health Alerts

International Health Alerts (IHA) is a compilation of abstracts of recent publications in global health, with a specific focus on tropical medicine and international health care in low- and middle-income countries.

The first edition of IHA, then called Referatenblad, was published in 1985. Since 1993, the initiative has been taken over by the NSGH and has been offered as a supplement to MTb. As a member of the NSGH, you will now receive it digitally.

IHA is a selection of relevant publications in the field of global health in, among others, The Lancet, Tropical Medicine & International Health (TM&IH), and Health Policy and Planning (HPP). Sections include Child Health; Communicable Diseases; Emergency Medicine; Health Financing and Health Policy; HIV/AIDS; Malaria; Sexual and Reproductive Health; Nutrition and Food; Research Ethics; Non-Communicable Diseases.

IHA is published four times a year. Editions are available as PDF files.
