In addition to articles on infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV, tuberculosis and neglected tropical diseases, TMIH publishes articles on water and sanitation, non-communicable and chronic diseases, and public health. We publish original articles, reviews and opinions. We particularly welcome critical and systematic reviews, short editorials and articles reporting the results of randomised studies; all these publications are available online free of charge for 90 days after acceptance. We welcome articles led by authors from low- and middle-income countries.
TMIH is published on behalf of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel (Switzerland), the Dutch Foundation TMIH, Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITG/ITM) in Antwerp (Belgium) and the Bernard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg (Germany).
