Care for Newcomers

At NSGH, we have an active group of members involved in two centres of expertise for the care of new arrivals, which fall under a single foundation and work closely together.

  • EKANN (Centre of Expertise for Children and Adolescents New to the Netherlands): provides healthcare professionals with expertise on the health and care of refugee children aged 0 to 18 in the Netherlands.
  • EZONN (Centre of Expertise for Healthcare for Newcomers to the Netherlands): provides healthcare professionals with expertise on the health of newcomers aged 18 and over.

Although both centres are part of the same foundation and work closely together, EKANN focuses specifically on children and adolescents, whilst EZONN offers expertise for adults.

Further information can be found on the websites of EKANN and EZONN.
