Our collaboration
Together, NSGH, OIGT and KCGH combine their expertise, thereby strengthening each other's activities.
We jointly organise:
- symposia and seminars on current topics in Global Health for AIGs and other healthcare professionals
- a digital learning environment with e-learning modules and webinars for a broad group of healthcare professionals and students.
- advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of global health issues
- joint participation in external partnerships and networks (more information)
In addition, we publish joint reports and keep policymakers and healthcare institutions informed of the latest insights. In this way, we contribute to a future in which knowledge and practice go hand in hand.
NSGH (formerly NVTG) is the professional association for doctors and healthcare professionals working in the broad field of global health. NSGH represents the interests of its members, provides a network for colleagues, organises conferences and symposiums, and advocates on global health issues and health inequality.

OIGT is responsible for training International Health Care Physicians (AIG). This programme trains doctors who are versatile and can work both in the Netherlands and abroad. OIGT develops the curriculum, coordinates international and national internships, provides supervision and e-learning, and collaborates with SOIGT and various partner institutions worldwide.

KCGH translates knowledge gained worldwide into useful insights and resources for the Dutch healthcare sector. KCGH collects, develops and shares this knowledge through tools, guidelines and digital learning resources.
