The NSGH is looking for committed AIGs who, as&nbsp;<strong>visitor<\/strong>&nbsp;want to visit a teaching hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with a fellow inspector, you will assess the training programme at a hospital. You will speak with junior doctors and trainers and help identify ways in which the training programme can be further strengthened. You will be carefully matched with a suitable assessment partner; new assessors are mentored by experienced colleagues and, where necessary, training is available through the RGS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Time commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00b1 2 hours\u2019 preparation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>visit to the hospital (half a morning)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00b1 2 hours before the report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reimbursement<\/strong><br>\u20ac400 per visit + travel expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a group of 12\u201316 visitors, you\u2019ll spend an average of&nbsp;<strong>once a year<\/strong>&nbsp;during the review.
