Amsterdam Health Centres Foundation (SAG)
The Amsterdam Health Centres Foundation (SAG) consists of 18 health centres spread across Amsterdam and provides care to around 90,000 Amsterdam residents.
More than 270 people work closely together in our organisation, including general practitioners, doctor's assistants, practice support staff, psychologists and paramedics. Together with the business office, they work together to provide good, integrated primary care.
The health centres form the heart of SAG. Each centre has a management duo: a GP responsible for the location and a centre manager. At the beginning of 2009, the organisation expanded with SAG Zorgontwikkeling BV, a provider of youth health care for 0 to 4-year-olds in Amsterdam, alongside the Municipal Health Service (GGD).
