The Registration Committee for Medical Specialists (RGS) has an advisory committee for handling objections to its decisions. The RGS also has a disputes committee that rules on disputes between residents and their trainer or training institution regarding decisions about the training programme.

The committees consist of several members: lawyers, specialists, profile doctors and AIOS (doctor in training). The RGS strives to have a representative from each specialism and profile on the committees. There is currently a vacancy for a specialist member AIG in both the advisory committee and the disputes committee. The vacancy for AIOS member for both committees has now been filled.
