The IG council is seeking a new secretary. The secretary, together with the chairperson, Irene de Vries, forms the executive committee; in addition, a CIG policy officer (Ella de Vries) provides support.
The task of the CIG, as described in the Internal Regulations, is:
The Concilium Internationale Gezondheidszorg (CIG) is the permanent advisory board of the NSGH for the training of IG doctors and other matters related to the safeguarding, promotion and development of global health and the professional practice of IG doctors KNMG. The CIG acts as the central training committee of the NSGH.
The concilium prepares policy and advises from its professional expertise in the field of international healthcare and tropical medicine/global health.
Profile sketch

- Experience working in LMICs as an AIG employee, medical specialist or public health specialist
- Affinity/experience with education
The position is unpaid and meetings are usually held in the evening. There are two regular meetings and two trainer meetings per year; additional meetings can be scheduled if desired.
